Olympic Yardworks began in 2023 in Port Angeles, Washington, under the name Woodscavengers. Back then, most of our work centered on cutting, processing, and delivering firewood, with the occasional tree removal job. It was a small, family-driven start, built during the time my wife and I were preparing to welcome our son. The business was always about creating a stronger future for our family.

When we relocated to Independence, Missouri, in 2025, the move gave us the opportunity to expand in ways we couldn’t before. With larger equipment, more family support, and greater demand, we rebranded as Olympic Yardworks and broadened our services. Unlike in Washington, where our focus was narrower, here in Missouri we were able to take on full-size commercial jobs and offer snow removal along with year-round property care.

Today, our work is supported by a wider mix of family — myself, my wife, her brother, and my father-in-law — which allows us to cover more ground and handle a broader range of projects. Right now, our main focus is storm cleanup, tree removal, lawn care, and snow removal throughout Jackson County and the surrounding area.

Looking forward, we see Olympic Yardworks continuing to grow with the community. Our vision is to add services like roof cleaning, pressure washing, and other property care solutions that give both homeowners and businesses a reliable partner they can call for just about any outdoor need.

At its core, Olympic Yardworks has always been about family and building something that lasts. What started as a firewood business in Washington has now become a full-service yard and property care company in Missouri, and we’re proud to continue growing alongside the people we serve.
